FINE ART PRINT
Abstract, textile art piece. Geological cross section illustrating the view across Loch Maree to the Torridonian mountain of Slioch.
Also visible, the fault line of Gleann Bianasdail and thrusted slopes of Beinn a’Mhuinidh.
Slioch has foundations of Lewisian Gneiss overlain by Torridonian Sandstone, while Beinn a’Mhuinidh shows the effects of the fault with older rocks being thrust up over the younger sandstone.
