Contemporary Scottish Artist, Jane Hunter - Textile Cross Section - Abstract Art - Monochrome

Regular price £180.00

The flagship textile art piece for my 2015 exhibition "The Cloth, The Land, The Earth II"  at the Watermill Gallery in Aberfeldy, Perthshire.

Geological cross section illustrates the structure of the Moine Thrust in Assynt, Scotland.

The rocks have been folded and lifted by heat and pressure, resulting in them lying unconformably with older metamorphosed moine rocks being thrust westwards on top of younger rocks.
