Re-imagined in cloth, most of which I had handwoven especially for this project, this piece gives us a representation of a section sliced through the Ben More & Moine Thrust.
Taking a glimpse through the Southern Assynt window, we can tell the rocks have been folded and lifted by heat and pressure, resulting in them lying unconformably. Older metamorphosed moine rocks being thrust westwards on top of younger rocks.
