SECTION, BEN MORE & MOINE THRUST
FINE ART PRINT
Abstract textile art piece. Geological cross section of Ben More & Moine Thrust, NW Highlands, Scotland.
This cross section illustrates the structure of the Ben More and Moine Thrusts through the Southern Assynt window. The rocks have been folded and lifted by heat and pressure, resulting in them lying unconformably with older metamorphosed moine rocks being thrust westwards on top of younger rocks.
