One of the most colourful trips to my most visited island. I've visited Arran umpteen times but seldom do I remember the colours being just as glorious.
1st stop: Corrie. Perhaps the cutest village on the island with the most striking sandstone coastline. This is where I get to play "Geology Charades" with the kids!
What am I explaining?
Next stop: Sannox. Crossing the river to the beach and looking up the famous Glen Sannox.
Lili at Lochranza.
Kildonan sunrise looking over Pladda, Ailsa Craig and the Ayrshire Coast.
Golden Eagle from the Ross Road.
Autumnal beauty of Holy Isle.
And how about this for a grand finale? Waiting for the last ferry, with a bag of chips and sunset over Goatfell and the northern hills.
